Future opportunities for you to help BONS at an event or behind the scenes.

We need help with our website and WordPress, if you have the talent please contact Doug:  koch.doug@gmail.com

OCTOBER 2017 two opportunities to help and sell your honey.  Contact our president Charles  charlesbrown880@aol.com he has the sign up sheets. One is at Blandy for Arbor Day the other is at Sky Meadows Park….this is a GREAT opportunity for you to share your knowledge of bees and learn more at the same time.

If you are a club member we could use you to stand at our booths and answer questions for the people who attend this event.  You can sign up for a two hour shift and you can sell your honey both while you are there and when you are not.  We keep track of what you bring and what of yours we sell.  Helping set up Friday afternoon/evening and break down our display/tent Sunday is also helpful.  You can do this even if this is your first year.  I did and found out I did not have to defer any questions to other experienced beekeepers who were at the tent.  It is a great way to gain confidence if you need it to speak to the public about bees.  I am sure you have all done this to your family and friends.  Please consider taking a shift or two and represent BONS well!

D. Coordinator of the BONS Mentorship program

Would you like to help the club with a project behind the scenes?  We need someone to coordinate getting those members who volunteer to be a mentor to be hooked up with new members who take the class.  If you have a question before you commit please contact Rusty our president.  We got this program off the ground a couple of years ago with Branson taking on the challenge.  We now need someone to pick up the ball and take this valuable role to new heights.  Please consider helping our club and new beekeepers. In the meantime we will have new beekeepers meeting existing member at club meetings where we will provide the opportunity for those who want to mentor to meet those in need.

 more opportunities coming check back…..

Do you have a talent a some time to help our club?  Tell Charlie and we have numerous opportunities for you to take our club to new levels.

We always need help before and after the monthly meetings to help set up chairs and put them back.  This is a way to help and not have to be “in charge” of something.  THANKS!
